I hope my art serves to heighten the visual senses. I believe that the greatest thing an artist can hope for is to create work that deepens anothers appreciation of the world around them ... a deeper sense of its complexity and connectivity. It is in these moments of wonder and appreciation that our soul is touched and our spirituality soars.
Photographing Mother Nature is my way of worshipping the wondrous world in which we live. To say I am in awe of the intrinsic beauty of Mother Nature would be an understatement. When I am photographing I go into a different metaphysical mind–space and I am totally lost in the moment – in an almost meditative state as I am often so mesmerized by the sheer beauty of the subject.
To create is to worship our uniqueness and spirituality – our very being – it’s the reason we are who we are. Photography for me is quite a spiritual experience – it brings about a certain ‘knowing’ that I am on the right path.
I like to think of my photo-art as being my eternal gift to the world – capturing such perfection through the lens and showcasing the true riches of the world to people around the globe. I recognize it is my calling, my mission in life to bring the beauty and magnificence of nature that I have discovered into other peoples’ lives.
Mother Nature provides us with every conceivable color of the spectrum. My work highlights the myriad of transitions of color, texture and symmetry in the world of nature. My collection emphasizes the multiplicity and repetition of nature – that the universe ensures that everything repeats itself.
I worship nature through the lens of my camera, however the click of the shutter is simply the beginning of my art. The real art is actually in the embellishment of the captured image whereby it undergoes a technological metamorphosis to create what you see. I dislike ‘obvious’ photography . I believe a great shot should serve to leave the viewer with a question as to how the composition was actually achieved.

I don’t so much reproduce what I see, but rather reinvent what I see. I love to create and bring into existence that which didn’t previously exist. Every subject I photograph requires a different approach. My preference is to get up close and personal offering an improvisation of what the naked eye sees. I like to think I am offering a new platform to awaken people’s perception and appreciation of the abundant and sublime beauty of nature that is so often overlooked.
I largely do multiplicities of subjects – as Mother Nature endlessly recreates perfection, so do I albeit in art form. Elongated images are my trademark style. What starts out as a seed of an idea – morphs and manifests into collages and montages. I like to think my style is quite unique – it is my blueprint offering a refreshingly different depiction of the familiar. I don’t imitate or replicate anyone else’s art – my work is totally self–styled and has evolved with me over time.
Through my photography I am simply confirming the abundant brilliance of Mother Nature – for she is to be acclaimed as the Universe’s greatest artist and I only hope I do her justice.
My art represents nature suspended in time. The beauty of nature defies definition – which is why I prefer to let the pictures speak.
To hold one’s gaze and focus on a thing of beauty I believe is good for the soul. To pause and ponder takes time – and time is perhaps the most precious commodity of all – for priceless is our time.
Bamboo, shells, cactus, flora, the bark of a tree - all of nature inspires me. I consider it a God-given privilege to work with Mother Nature. I wish everyone could be so fortunate.
I always profess that I prefer my art to speak of my insatiable and innate love of Mother Nature - this passion cannot adequately be summed up in words and is trivialized by verbal or written interpretation.
My love of Mother Nature is a reciprocal love – I find the more I love and worship her with my camera, the more she loves me back by offering up even more resplendent and captivating specimens.
I believe that an appreciation of nature, like true love, must be felt in the heart and words can never adequately convey this emotion. Ultimately, it matters not what an artist has to vocalize about his art – what matters most is that it speaks in volumes to the beholder.
