Biography
Robyn developed her skills studying digital design and graphics at The Australian College of Information Technology and then studied photography at The Australian International College of Art, whilst being mentored by renowned veteran photographer John Rundle.
Robyn’s career path and journey in life have been anything but conventional – starting out as a Legal Stenographer and working in some of Sydney’s largest law firms, she came to the realization that stuffy law offices were stifling her. In her early 20’s she had the call of the wild, turned her life upside down, traveling to the other side of Australia and worked as a hostess on camping safaris in outback Western Australia where people from all corners of the globe would venture into the wilderness to photograph the gorgeous gorges and the abundant wildflowers. This first ignited Robyn’s passion for photographing nature.
She then ventured North to the world renowned Argyle Diamond Mine in the remote Kimberley region where she had the enviable job of sorting diamonds. Having a keen eye was instrumental in securing this amazing job. Following this, Robyn then embarked upon designing her own line of costume jewelry and traveled extensively throughout Australia wholesaling her jewelry range. Her travels (and indisputably fate) led her to Ayers Rock in the heart of Australia where unsuspecting cupid’s arrow struck upon meeting her now husband of 21 years Peter.
Robyn spent five incredible years working at Australia’s Sea World in Sales & Marketing. With a burning desire to re-ignite her creative spark, she then worked in various fields of design; in graphic design and printmaking and then went on to pursue a lengthy career as an Interior Designer.
Robyn has a great passion for visual stimulation and it is through her versatility and diverse background in design that this phenomenal photo-art range was conceived. She has truly found her niche the past five years in photographing and embellishing images of nature and creating contemporary digital art to bring to the world her impressive Stock Library.
